Hi all! Reading through these posts I made when I was in middle school/a freshman and seeing that they have several thousand views makes me cringe just a little bit, lol. Anyways-- I'm 17 (gonna be a legal adult this year... omg!!) now and a senior in HS! Yay, I made it! My stupid depressed middle school self never expected themselves to make it this far, but here I am. I've applied to various colleges across the US, but so far I've been accepted into Stonybrook, University at Buffalo, UC Denver, and Penn State; my top colleges are Berkeley and UCLA, but I'm still waiting for the status update. I feel very excited to go to college because I crave independence and a new setting, but at the same time I know that I'll feel sad to leave my friends and family behind since I want to go somewhere far away. However, I believe that change can be good sometimes, and the long term benefits will outweigh the short term detriments. So much has changed! With Covid, my entire senior year will be
